Happy Birthday, @lornerachlis, aka Dad! Dad: I saw this pic you posted on Facebook from your day in Ottawa. I’m in a @timhortons in Toronto, drawing it over and over, trying to get your likeness right. But I figure I’ll just post the work in progress, so it’s up while it’s still your birthday! Because I know what you’d say. You even said it last month about something I was doing. “Are you going to finish Joel’s bar mitzvah card?” (That’s a reference to the family story about how when I was 12, I tried to draw a giant card from my friend Joel’s bar mitzvah, and I wanted to cover a whole Bristol board with drawings, and I wasn’t finished covering it all in time, so I never wound up giving it to him at all. The lesson: Done is better than perfect.) 🍰 ⭐️ #Toronto #Ottawa #birthday #drawing #cartoon I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblog

I’m impressed with @mightymikeshow’s biceps, and Jen kept telling him he looks like Brad Pitt. Earlier when she told me that, she was saying that without the moustache he’d look like Brad. But I noted that in Inglorious Basterds, Brad has a moustache. And sure enough, Mike told us he went as Brad from that movie for Halloween! He trimmed the stache for that costume. He noted that it’s now longer - I said “For the 1930’s busker look”. He said he’s originally from Halifax but now lives in Toronto. So let’s all watch him perform again soon! ⭐️ #Toronto #comedy #juggler #busker #travel I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblog

Does anyone have an @airbnb or spare room I could book for a week or 2? I’ve been house sitting at Yonge/Eglinton but my friend is back in town. Probably in or near Toronto, in case I want to check out #tiff19, which is Sep 5-15. But I’m open to leaving Toronto too. I want to focus on starting a daily podcast and comedy videos for a couple of weeks. Then maybe go to Ottawa for a couple of week. 🏡 I could maybe book at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel, Suites & Conference Centre where they will give me a deal. But it’s 2 buses from there to get to Finch subway. 🚌 #Toronto #airbnb #hotel #travel I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblog

I started filming a report about @yeoldefudgepot at @letsgototheex yesterday, but the sales girl didn’t want to be on-camera. That’s fine! Being in my silly videos isn’t everyone’s cup of fudge. But the fudge is still delish!😋 #Toronto #fudge #TorontoFoodie #entrepreneur I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblog

Just interviewed @eatchiamigos - An Ontario company run by these nice and hilarious sisters-in-law! 🎤 I’ll post the interview soon! 🤗 Oh, and I sampled their chia pudding and it’s delicious and healthy! 😋 I’m at @letsgototheex this eve, so let me know if anyone wants to hang out or be interviewed! 👯 #Toronto #chiaseeds #TorontoFoodie #entrepreneur I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblog

Check out my advice for doing job interviews! Last week, @mayracetinalp made my pizza at a restaurant. This week she asked if I had any tips for a job interview. You can see that I gave her my thoughts, and she said it helped make her interview one of her best ever! I love meeting nice new people, and I love helping people. So this was a double win! 💕 #Toronto #jobinterview #TorontoFoodie #careeradvice I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblog

I’m at @thegoodmanpub with my mom @louiserachlis before she gets her train back home at 3pm. Anyone wanna hang downtown with me afterwards, at Harbourfront or @letsgototheex? (Mom said she knows I’m gonna take a photo so I can decide what angle is good. So I chose this one. Also, we were at a table that was in the sun and I moved us to this table in the shade.) 🌞 #Toronto #restaurant #TorontoFoodie #travelblogger I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblog

On Wednesday, I took the TTC to @letsgototheex to see my mom, sis, niece and nephew. Turns out they got there at 10am, and I didn’t get there til about 1pm, and they were pretty much done. But I was able to see them for a bit. Then I decided to walk around on my own. (NOTE: I posted in my Instagram Story all day, so you could follow along. I post in my Story daily, so feel free to watch and ask questions. I upload Stories to YouTube and Facebook afterwards too.) I love seeing all the happy attendees. I love seeing all the staff on their microphones on the games - The girl at the Roller Bowler was talking about how a guy comes every year to her game and this time spent $50 on it while his parents had to wait. I love seeing all the people selling things from their boothes - The @vitamixca guy was funny and gave free samples of the smoothies, soup and ice cream he made. The @redfernent treadmill woman told me that she’s on the road 10 months a year, so she sold her home and stores her boxes at the warehouse - This gave me comfort, to hear that someone else sold their home to try being free to travel, because that’s what I’m trying and it’s been making me anxious. Maybe I’ll even go back to The Ex today and/or this weekend. Who wants to walk around with me? 🎈 😆 #Toronto #CNE #travel #travelblogger I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblog

Yesterday my 7-year-old niece’s gym class had a parents viewing day and I went to watch. Her first exercise was one-handed cart wheels. She was amazing! Sunday breakfast with the family at @sunsetgrill before we again go our separate ways. 💕 I would maybe ride to my parents’ place with my dad, but I need to deal with my boxes tomorrow. Sell/donate my household goods, and find a place to store my photos and diaries. Hopefully I can get that done fast so I can concentrate on spending more time with family, and on starting to do daily stand-up comedy. 🎤 #Toronto #foodie #travel #travelblogger #restaurant I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog

This pic is my entry into @thepicklebarrel’s #pbsummer19 contest for a $500 catered summer party. Anyone want to be my friend if I win? I was looking at their summer menu and was definitely tempted by the chicken. And by the salad. But I wound up ordering the Kung Pao bowl off the regular menu. But then I noticed the contest, and read that to enter, you post a pic of you with a summer photo item. I considered finding another table with a summer item. But then I read the details and they also let you describe what your favorite summer item is. And I can tell you that this Summer Lovin’ Strawberry Layer Cake In A Jar on the display I’m holding definitely takes the cake. Ha ha. Get it? Anyway, we’re here to celebrate my parents’ anniversary and my dad’s birthday. Aug 5: My thank you speech to my childhood swim teachers... Because as you see in the previous video, I swam in the middle of a river! My brother in law suggested I jump in. I asked if he had ever jumped off the boat and he said no. My mom said I should put on a lifejacket. But I decided to be dangerous. Normally I find even swimming pool water too cold to get into - It takes me half an hour to ease in. But this was warm and I’m glad I did this. 🏊🏻 Visiting my brother in law’s dad’s place. 🚣‍♀️ #Toronto #Ottawa #nature #travel #travelblogger #cottagelife I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog

Aug 5: My sister and I on a boat. She’s my sister who has Parkinson’s and celiac disease. And she’s up early every morning at the gym and eating healthy. She is my inspiration. I keep trying to go to bed early enough that I can get up as early as she does. I want to follow her schedule. I want to spend more time in Ottawa so I can do activities in the morning with her. 💪🏻 Visiting my brother in law’s dad’s place. 🚣‍♀️ #Toronto #Ottawa #family #travelblog #cottagelife I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modellife #modeling #travelvlog #travelblogger

(I filmed this shorter version of the previous vid for you, @zacharylevi, cuz I know you’re busy! And cuz if it’s 60 seconds, you don’t have to swipe on Instagram). The message is still: Hey @zacharylevi - Should I buy a photo op with you at @officialfxc tomorrow? I feel like we’ll become friends, but I want to get a Like or DM from you confirming my theory. Want to be a guest on my pretend talk show? I want to try doing a mini interview or just a chat with someone over my iPhone. To see if it works, so I can do a daily video. I could try it on Facebook Live or Instagram Live, and then upload it to YouTube later. Aug. 1: I made a video of the clothes I’m going to donate, so I can remember what I had. Does anyone else care so much about preserving memories? 👕 I sold my condo and my stuff is in storage in a guy’s basement. But he wants the stuff out. So I’ve been gradually moving stuff out. My friend Mira came with me once and watched me try on all my clothes and we decided what didn’t fit and put it in a duffel bag. Now it’s all at her house. I wanted to go through it one last time on her bed and film it. Just in case I ever want to look at the clothes again because they might trigger some memories. I’m always afraid I’m going to forget what I’ve done in my life. 👕 July 29: A nice security guard told me about her planned birthday trip to Italy, and I drew her my best wishes. #Toronto #declutter #minimalism #organize #organized I am: #celebrityinterviewer #entertainmentreporter #radiohost #comedian #actor #voiceactor #singersongwriter #cartoonist #copywriter #screenwriter #filmmaker #locationindependent #digitalnomad #entrepreneur #minimalist #beautyinfluencer #modelingagent #modelscout Other tags: #modelingagency #model #fashionmodel #modelling #modellife #modeling #travelvlog
