Grabbed some wings, fish & chips, fries, and sweet potato fries with my dad at @canaloak - A really cozy pub overlooking the Rideau Canal in #Ottawa. My mom grabbed a train to #Toronto to help my sister. I guess my dad and I don’t eat healthy when she leaves. My dad said: “I guess this is really comfort food.” So that’s good, at least! And it’s good to spend time with dad. Oh, and I tested the Wi-Fi and it’s super fast. So I should come here to upload my videos all day! Oct 1: I checked out of the @daysinn in #Brampton after a week, where I was staying so I could be close to family. I like to take photos of my hotel rooms, because each one is a home I lived in. If you were watching my Story, you saw that I enjoyed the free breakfast daily - And I was getting up so late that I was usually the only one in the breakfast room. Sep 19: I was running for MP. At 4pm, on my way to the 7pm debate (I wanted to be there for 6pm) at @bayt_613 hosted by @bnaibrithcanada, I wanted to make business cards to hand out. A friend on Facebook designed them for me. I went into @bc24print and he said he needs 24 hours to make cards. Oh no! He said he could print a sheet that I could cut myself. So I got that and was chopping it up. I kept messing up the sizing, and cussing. He called over that it was ok, he’ll help me out. I thought he was going to print another sheet. But then he came over with a box of business cards all printed out! I don’t know how he did it. And he didn’t even charge me for those cards. So kind and generous. Sep 2, 2019: I watched The Farmer’s Daughter show at @letsgototheex, and comedian Lou F. W. Israel was talking to her afterward. I decided to interview him, and he inspired me with his passion for performing standup comedy. He said the other comedians are half his age and he still gets out there and does it. And he has a younger girlfriend, which gives me hope that I can still get married and have kids. (My battery died after 7 minutes, so I’ll have to finish my story in another video.)
