Oct 1: I checked out of the @daysinn in #Brampton after a week, where I was staying so I could be close to family. I like to take photos of my hotel rooms, because each one is a home I lived in. If you were watching my Story, you saw that I enjoyed the free breakfast daily - And I was getting up so late that I was usually the only one in the breakfast room. Sep 19: I was running for MP. At 4pm, on my way to the 7pm debate (I wanted to be there for 6pm) at @bayt_613 hosted by @bnaibrithcanada, I wanted to make business cards to hand out. A friend on Facebook designed them for me. I went into @bc24print and he said he needs 24 hours to make cards. Oh no! He said he could print a sheet that I could cut myself. So I got that and was chopping it up. I kept messing up the sizing, and cussing. He called over that it was ok, he’ll help me out. I thought he was going to print another sheet. But then he came over with a box of business cards all printed out! I don’t know how he did it. And he didn’t even charge me for those cards. So kind and generous. Sep 2, 2019: I watched The Farmer’s Daughter show at @letsgototheex, and comedian Lou F. W. Israel was talking to her afterward. I decided to interview him, and he inspired me with his passion for performing standup comedy. He said the other comedians are half his age and he still gets out there and does it. And he has a younger girlfriend, which gives me hope that I can still get married and have kids. (My battery died after 7 minutes, so I’ll have to finish my story in another video.)

What a treat to meet @cbcdragon star @arlenedickinson yesterday! I was so happy to see her, I commemorated it by drawing her! ✍️ I @uber_canada’ed to @indigospirit_firstcan to make sure I didn’t miss her noon-1pm appearance. I drew her while others were getting signatures and selfies. Then I bought her book. But when I took my book to get signed, it was 12:59pm and she was gone! I asked the security guard which way she went, and I found her in a back room, and called out asking if I could still get a signature. She generously said yes. I told her I’d seen her when she was a guest on @cbcradio show GO!, which I was writing an episode for. And I told her my birthday was next week so I was looking forward to her book helping me make changes. She asked if I wanted my last name in the greeting, and she wrote Happy Birthday. She said it was hard to write standing up, so it was a bit messy. That’s my fault for missing the table time! I hope I get to be friends with her and we have more chances to hang.
