I’m having another Friday eve mini hangout at my place. And this time I took five seconds to draw a logo for it on an envelope. Plus, we’ll have some food made by a chef! Last week, only my neighbor Kathleen showed up. But she brought pizza. And we Facebook Live'd with the masses for almost 2 hours. She's going out of town for the next few weeks, so this will be the last Friday night with her for a while. Meanwhile, Marie, a chef I met at a streetcar stop, just messaged that she's making some food, and is putting icing on buns. I love when women put icing on my buns! I just had a fun adventure where I tagged @secondcupqueenst in my Instagram Story and they replied back right away and the cashier @thairjkawaii told me it’s her boss @nutrinadiaa sending the messages. A thrilling mystery! I was walking back from the Nathan Phillips Square Christmas tree lighting with my neighbor Kathleen and she wanted to warm up with a hot chocolate in @sbuxqueenjohn but I suggested @secondcupcanada because I like to support a Canadian company. (Sorry, @starbuckscanada! I still appreciate the free birthday smoothie last week!) Who knew that patriotism would lead to making great new friends? The Christmas spirit is filling my life with joy! And I’m Jewish! (Extra note: On the walk back, Kathleen noted that I see the world differently and she loves watching my observations.
